The Hybrid-DL was specially engineered for discus launch enthusiasts. It's a simple, fast assembling, high quality model and superb performer. Hybrid-DL has tapered wings with built-in washout for tip-stall resistant flight characteristics, and lower drag. It features HN1033-modified very thin and fast sailplane airfoil from Europe. Internally reinforced wing is very stiff and could be finished with full span flaperons or just ailerons or as a polyhedral wing if desired by the builder.
- Removable horizontal stabilizer with prehinged elevator is made from balsa and finish sanded.
- Vertical stabilizer with prehinged rudder are made from selected balsa. Lower leading edge of the stabilizer is reinforced with strip of thin plywood to protect it from damage and to add extra strength and stiffness entire surface of the vertical stabilizer and rudder are laminated with very light weight glass cloth.
